Resizable text in interfaces, or a UI slider/setting in general.
A soundtrack setting (choosing your own) would be nice - music is kinda repetitive.
In-game settings menu/options - basic stuff, mostly, like Fullscreen and Resolutions, graphics detail and
Hotkeys/shortcuts - it's a management game, so really (by that, I mean reconfigurable hotkeys. To make it closer to the camera controls [WSAD].)
And how about the language? Is there a planned option for that?
I can probably say more, but yeah. I don't know much about the difficulty of implementing these features in the game but as a normal consumer of this kind of medium, those things are essential.
I know that you can find some of these settings on the startup resolution dialog, but really - remove that. It's annoying as hell. You can bypass the startup resolution dialog: Build Settings -> Player Settings -> Resolution and Presentation -> Display resolution dialog: enable/disable.
But well, it's just my opinion.

Another one I found: the fading part to signify the end of a day. I think it's better if it's just continuous.

I agree with a lot of what you've said, but I actually like the fading part at the end of the day, it was a charming surprise. Having people go home also was a bit of a nice surprise.

Hey sorry to reply so late. Just a couple of follow-up questions and some responses: Resizable text in interfaces, or a UI slider/setting in general. Can I ask if what the issue is with the text? Too big or too small? TBH I have never noticed this kind of feature in any other game so it never occurred to me. A soundtrack setting (choosing your own) would be nice - music is kinda repetitive. We think this music fits the game, but if it really bugs you, you can always mute the music and play something else in the background. In-game settings menu/options - basic stuff, mostly, like Fullscreen and Resolutions, graphics detail and Hotkeys/shortcuts - it's a management game, so really (by that, I mean reconfigurable hotkeys. To make it closer to the camera controls [WSAD].) I know that you can find some of these settings on the startup resolution dialog, but really - remove that. It's annoying as hell. You can bypass the startup resolution dialog: Build Settings -> Player Settings -> Resolution and Presentation -> Display resolution dialog: enable/disable.With regards to the settings like resolution and stuff, the startup dialog solves a lot of those issues for us without having to put in extra time/effort. I know some people don't like it but personally I've come to kind of accept it. Bottom line is given our scarce resources I think most players will appreciate more new systems in the game rather than settings. More hotkeys are being implemented as we speak! Reconfigurable hotkeys will take a little bit longer though, maybe it will be one of our first big updates after launch. And how about the language? Is there a planned option for that? For launch we will focus on English. When we determine the best way to approach localization (Either having it done professionally or crowdsourcing it) we will move forward on that.

UI - some people probably will use multi-screen displays/setups so a reconfigurable text/UI size will be very helpful like RimWorld kinda did.
Music - well, that's a nice option and all, but yeah.
As for the startup option - I think not only I hate that thing appear on games that I play. I know a couple gamers that quickly refunded some games like Floppy Heroes because it had that shown at the very start. I think it shows only laziness and incompetence from the game developers' part.
And thank god for the hotkeys. It's kinda annoying knowing that you can't move the camera with the WASD keys, like almost all other management games.
EDIT: Are you leaving the fade after school hours?

Noted. We'll place this under nice to have, but maybe after launch. We still have A LOT of bugs to fix.
Music - well, that's a nice option and all, but yeah.
Same as above.

I'll be honest here, you seem to feel like adding features like this is easy. Which is fine, since you are a player and not a developer. But I would appreciate it if you tried to at least put yourself in our shoes. We are a small team and we have to weigh our options carefully. Would most players rather prefer that we devote our time to new features or to removing a startup option that saves us a LOT of development time? We do not take this decision lightly, and for now we feel we are better serving our future players by working on features.
I also don't appreciate us being called lazy. I can take the incompetent criticism just fine. I am sure we are not the smartest or best game developers in the world, and I never once in my life pretended to be that! But our team works every day, and sometimes I have to force them to stop working on weekends in order to prevent burnout. If that is not good enough for you and "a couple of gamers" who will refund the game if they see the startup menu, then they have every right to do that. Maybe they will come back when we remove it and put in a proper settings menu. Or maybe not. I don't know. But I will not let my team be shamed into working impossibly long hours to work on a setting you particularly think is important because you think it shows laziness and incompetence on our end.
In short, call us incompetent all you want, but I will not abide being called lazy. We have put too many hours into this game, and indeed in our our careers, for me to take that kind of criticism lying down.
EDIT: Are you leaving the fade after school hours?
Yes. We did this because there is not much activity in a school after school hours. This may change if we program in activity then, but for now it will remain. In the future we may add elements like a night school, or some have suggested stuff like a boarding school.
Even though I must say I personally feel very disrespected by some of your comments, we do honestly appreciate your feedback and we will take note of all of it. Please just don't expect us to magically do everything you suggest just because it is really important to you. We're only human, and we do the best that we can. In future, we would very much appreciate if you could be more constructive in your criticism.

Sorry for that. I didn't mean anything bad. I just felt that, as a player of these type of games, the least I can do to improve this game from my own country is to address the issues that are glaringly obvious. I don't know how hard it is to implement these features, but I do know that it is hard.
Sorry if my writing came off as disrespectful to you. I really am.

Apology accepted!
We understand and are very appreciative of your feedback. I know that you want this game to be just as good as we do. Just please understand that we cannot fix everything and we have to make extremely hard choices about what to fix first. We will not always agree about this. What may be a glaringly obvious problem to you might be an issue we are willing to accept for now. You can make a strong argument for your case, and if enough people agree with you, we can be convinced that it IS a big problem and should be addressed sooner rather than later.
But please, make your arguments through reason and try to convince us that it is a GOOD idea, rather than saying stuff like "oh people will think you are lazy and incompetent if you do not do this". because honestly, when we hear stuff like that it is so demoralizing for us, and I cannot repeat how hard it is to make games like this specifically.
Thanks again, and I assure you we will take all feedback seriously and try to add these features as soon as we are able.

Thank you for the reply and sorry, really. I was just really excited to see an actual game made in my country to be released internationally, and really - if the game has the capacity and potential to spark game development in the Philippines, that's even better. Sorry for the demoralizing reply I've sent.
