I get 20-30 sick students a day out of a 150 student population. What causes this? Is it from accidentally starving them the previous day? Do they need more fans for ventilation? Should I give them more bathrooms? Is it just random?

It's caused by how frequent the students step on dirty tiles of your school. Build concrete floors since normal ground is considered as dirty. Hire more janitors and build a clinic.

LOL the first exam came up and 90% of my students failed! I thought it's because they're starving (still can't figure out how to keep all students fed).

Try creating more canteen tables and food counters so you have a steady flow of food and dining space.
